This year's poster theme is

"Water is Life"

Every year, in conjunction with CDI (Conservation Districts of Iowa), the Clay County Soil & Water Conservation District commissioners sponsor a poster contest. The contest is open to all students in grades K through 12. There is over $1,825 in cash prizes available from CDI.

The Clay SWCD commissioners give cash prizes for 1st ($25), 2nd ($10) and honorary place ($5) along with ribbons. Overall winners in each division receive $50 savings bonds. The divisions are as follows: K-3, 4-6, and 7-12. If you or your school is interested in participating, please contact our office.
