What is Client Gateway? Client Gateway (CG) is the new NRCS public website that provides NRCS clients secure access to their conservation plans, practice implementation schedules, financial applications and contracts, documents and payment information.

CG provides the ability for NRCS clients to request assistance and interact with Field Offices via the Internet. Requests made through the Client Gateway will receive the same professional and timely service as face-to-face requests in NRCS field offices. Use of the Gateway is entirely voluntary. NRCS clients always have the option to continue to work with NRCS and partner field office staff face-to-face.

Through the Client Gateway, NRCS clients will be able to:

  • Request technical assistance (TA), such as for a new conservation plan
  • Apply for NRCS conservation financial assistance (FA) programs
  • Review and sign their conservation plans and practice implementation schedules
  • Review, sign, and submit conservation program FA contracts and appendices
  • Document completed practices and request practice certification
  • Request and track payments due them for completed contract items
  • Store and retrieve their conservation technical and financial files, including documents and photographs

Benefits

Through the use of Client Gateway, both clients and NRCS and affiliate field staff will save gas and time by reducing travel back and forth from farm to office and vice versa.

Client Gateway will be available 24 hours/7 days a week, providing access for clients beyond traditional field office hours.
